Your first session is designed to identify your unique needs and tailor care providing the best delivery of sessions. This consultation can last up to 30 minutes and is offered free of charge.
We
want to ensure it’s all the right fit for you and us, understanding your specific problems and goals.

During this session, we will:

  1. Understand Your Health History: We will discuss your past medical history, previous treatments, and any ongoing health concerns.

  2. Presenting condition: Understand more about what brought you to Athmaya and priortise your concerns.

  3. Lifestyle and routine: Identify your habits that impact your daily life, activities of daily living, and limitations to quality of life.

  4. Goal Identification: Identify personal goals you would like to achieve through our program. This can range from physical health targets to overall well-being improvements.

  5. Ongoing plan

At the end of our discussion, I will provide you with a summary of our initial consultation. In this, I will recommend a personalised plan and how Athmaya can support your journey towards better health and well-being with Athmaya Health.

What to Expect in A Follow up Assessment

Duration: Up to 2 hours (We ensure that you are never rushed and that every aspect of your health is carefully considered)

Purpose: Delve deeper into key areas affecting your quality of life and motivation to improve this. We conduct specific assessments and diagnostic techniques. This assessment allows the physiotherapist to identify objective markers and evaluate findings.

Using the five pillars identified in your initial screen, we will branch out into more detailed and evidence-based assessments.

Our follow-up assessments are designed to build on the foundation laid during our sessions, ensuring continuous progress and support in achieving your health and wellness goals.

Purpose: This service may be identified during our assessment or, you might already know what Aeging Well can help you with. This additional support is available for anyone and can be discussed during our initial consultation.

The appropriateness of these assessments would be determined by our clinicians. We are open to discussions and learning together about everyone’s health concerns. This service can include support with much more than mentioned here.
